Law(son) and Order

After the Clippers nearly had a chance to close out the Grizzlies, they once again came VERY short of doing so. Tony Allen missed two FT's then Randy Foye grabbed the rebound but stepped out of bounds. They fouled Z-Bo and made one of two foul shots. Foye missed a three pointer that would cut the lead to two. They once again fouled Z-Bo and missed both shots. Foye made a three pointer to cut it to 90-88, then Conley ran as fast as he could to milk the clock. Game 7 is up and I hope the Clips win the series.

For my pick today, I am going with Ty Lawson . I want to pick Andre Miller over him but the Nuggets might ride him until the wheels fall off. They desperately need a go-to-guy that can penetrate the rim at will and can create double teams to make life for his teammates easier. Lawson fits the bill especially now that he WILL have a big target on his back. The Lakers had their problems on the road and there is no excuse for Bynum and Gasol for not giving their all at that game. Kobe was great though, reminiscing the days of MJ playing with stomach flu then dropping 30 and 40 on his opponents.

Lawson is the spark that will keep the Nuggets running. That is the only way that they can beat the Lakers. As much as I want the Nuggets to win, I definitely believe that Kobe and his crew will give their A+ effort and dedication in closing out the Nuggets. Looking for a 20+ pra for him though. If you think that the Lakers will lose to the Nuggets (I doubt that), then go ahead and pick KB24. My projected stat for Ty would be 16 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists.
